Elementary Grades
IACC Academy is committed to:
1. Admit qualified students that
meet the Academy’s academic
and behavioral standards;
2. Detect the readiness and compatibility
of prospective students;
3. Acquaint students and parents
with the school policy, environment,
and expectations of both parents
and students;
Admission Checklist
· Qualify for the cut over date
of Dec 31st
· Transcripts from previous grades
· Previous teachers’ recommendations
· Diagnostic assessment test
· 80 skills inventory (Kindergarten
& First Grade)
· Registration forms
· Parent interview
· Parent handbook compliance agreement
Acceptance Guidelines:
1. IACC Academy is operated on a
non-discriminatory basis, according
equal treatment and access to services
without any
regard to race, color, national
origin or ancestry.
2. All admission candidates will
be tested at times and dates set
forth by the Academy. If any admission
candidate does
not arrive on time for the test,
we reserve the right to decline
his/her application for admission.
3. Returning students on academic/behavior
probation will NOT be readmitted
if their probation period expired
and have
not met the conditions of the probation.
4. Returning students that have
met the minimum academic/behavior
standards and are not on academic
or behavior
probation will be re-admitted upon
completion and submission of any
required re-enrollment package by
the given deadline.
5. In the case of limited space
and equally qualifying applications,
returning students will be preferred
over new
applicants.
6. New students identified as having
minor academic or behavioral problems
in their former school may be admitted
on
probationary status at the discretion
of the admissions team if it is
believed that the student may respond
more favorably to
the educational environment at the
Academy.
Restrictions:
1. After admission, any student
diagnosed as inadequately familiar
with the English language within
the first nine weeks
will be recommended a public or
private ESL program and may not
continue attending IACC Academy.
2. Children with emotional and severe
learning disabilities can not be
accepted at IACC Academy.
3. Any other students with any other
special need that cannot be addresses
by IACC Academy’s resources
will be referred
to an appropriate institution.
Enrollment Steps:
1. Pick up an 80 skills inventory
chart for skills development (Kindergarten
& First Grade)
2. Submit all previous report cards/transcripts
3. Submit previous teachers’
recommendation forms
4. Schedule for an Admission Test
5. Pay for Registration $250/child and books $300 user fee
6. Once the admission test is passed,
fill out Registration forms, submit
birth certificate and immunization
record
7. Schedule for a Parent Interview
to get acquainted with school policies
and procedures. Sign and turn in
the ‘Parent
Handbook Compliance Agreement’
form.
